I'm pretty sure that your steering block broke on the underside of the steering block, am i correct?
To avoid that i've done the following.
I build my TT-02 as a rally version, meaning that you flip the rear uprights upside down and at the front replacing the spacer from the bottom to the top of the steering knuckle.
This can be done along with some TRF mini dampers or with some super mini cva dampers.
So far i haven't broken a standard steering block anymore, it's because of the spacer that sits for onroad racing bellow the steering block that it brake's to easily.
It's causing a weak spot to the steering block, that's just my experience with the TT-02 steering blocks.

Just my 2 cents opinion
