Spent some time at the track today after not maintaining the car since last weeks JBRL (something I almost never do). The race was pretty rough, ended up with a broken rear body mount (didnt leave a mark on the body), a bent rear center drive shaft, and a bind somewhere else in the drivetrain. The track had a long double with a short run up that I cased quite a few times and this undoubtedly did the damage. Havent ripped it all the way apart to find out what is binding but if I had to guess, I'd figure it to be the rear bulkhead. I'll be doing the typical tear down tomorrow and find out for sure. The bad side of this is I wont be racing tomorrow since I didnt do the tear down Monday and order the parts (no local parts source). Was fun to run laps today on the new layout but I would have happily given that up to race tomorrow. That is what I get for procrastinating!
