Someone I know bought a cheap TRX 10.5 'modified' motor, claims its faster than other 10.5 that's not modified. But my 2 year 10.5 ballistic motor beat it in a dragrace geared the same in a SC truck.

So I think it doesn't matter if its
labeled 'modified' or not.
