I am driving a Serpent 811-E geared 17/46. I am running 2 SMC 6000 80C (160C burst) 2S Lipos. The batteries have inboard bullet connects and I am using 4mm Castle bullets as the connector on the ESC. The servo is a Hitec 7955. The radio is a Airtronics MT-4 and the receiver is the RX-462. I have a Novak glitchbuster plugged in to the receiver as a precautionary measure. I have a 2 wire AMB transponder and a fan on the ESC.
Try taking off the glitch buster. You shouldn't need it with the Gen2 Rx8 even on 6v setting. I've seen those reset the system before also.

If you're using the "basket" style 4mm connectors, get ride of them. Get some solid ones like Protek's etc. Those basket ones can cause the same issues, erratic operation.
