Was looking at body shells when this caught my eye. The description mentions that the body is only 0.33mm thick! Protoform light weights are 0.64mm thick and my ltc-r lw weighs about 90g (painted and everything). This means this A-plus body will weigh somewhere between 45-55g when all painted up. My car is 1460g race ready and could really use a big weight saving
Does anyone have any experience with body shells this thin?
According to their website, Protoform light weight bodies are made with .025mm lexan. Their regular weight bodies are .030mm lexan.
