Questions??

Hello all,

I recently bought a used B44 that came with a bunch of spare parts including a B44.2 chassis. The complete car is built on a B44 chassis. I haven't had time yet to go through all the parts to ID which is which but I'm hoping there are more 44.2 parts. I bought it just to play around with and so my son can play with my Losi XXT.

I've read in a lot of places that the diff gears wear out pretty quickly. I'm not planning on racing but I do want to be able to run it on just about any surface (concrete, grass, dirt, etc). I've done a lot research and found that you can install gear diffs but those are a little pricey and possibly overkill for me. So then I found these...(Can't post links yet, sorry)

They also offer aluminum versions. I figure for about $60 I can have piece of mind and not have to tear it down nearly as often. Instead of replacing pretty much the whole diff I would just be cleaning and changing the grease.

Thoughts?
