Never used it or seen it used (I avoid all Spektrum stuff) but the specs look suitable. Only problem is that for the same price you can get a Futaba 9650 (a proven winner and known to last a long time) which has a bit less torque but is also a good bit faster (.11 vs .15 at 6 volts). I'd say if you already have it laying around, go ahead and use it. If not, get the Futaba.
Or if you want even faster, JR Z3650 does .09 at 6V but costs a bit more.
