+1 for this. Seems this a pretty common consensus. Don't leave your packs charged ever. Storage charge yes, full charge definitely not.
Usually after getting home from a race I am tired and don't want to mess with unpacking everything. But the one thing I do unpack is batteries and charger.
Always storage charge them all before the night is over.
