It does add up a little if you do enough of them, I got aluminum all over my Tekno RCs and never bent or broke any of them and if you've seen my basher videos you know I'm not easy on them.
I've never run them on 1/8s but always had my 1/10s blinged out. I usually didnt have them on parts that took a lot of abuse though. Dont recall breaking any but that was years ago (early 90's) when purple anodizing was thing (hey, dont judge me
). Thinking about it, the interior lighting on my Mustang is purple, hmm, ok, judge away.
