Your brake setup is the almost exactly the same as mine, I too used JQ stuff but silver version and used the small springs to make my brakes more progressive and it works really well. I spent a lot, A LOT, of time working on my brakes setup and finally have it where I want.

By the way, I love that power button but the Kyosho one has a full LED reading to show battery life and some other cool features, unfortuatenly its more expensive. Thunder Innovations has an aluminum orange version of the one you have, thought you might like that, check the link.
