Attended a race this past weekend in Mayfield, Kentucky. It was their annual "Race for a Cure", of which all proceeds go to cancer research.
Used:
Tekno NB48 (first time driving a Tekno)
Lutz WE engine
Lutz 2107 pipe
Buku composite shoe clutch
Setup the buggy as per Mo's sheet with a few minor front end adjustments (the track was super slippery)
Initial impressions:
Drive train is super smooth. Rivals my MP9.
Acceleration is incredible.
Will turn inside a Mugen MBX7
Jumps and lands well. No Kyosho double bounce.
Extremely durable. Many people were breaking A arms landing after the large triple jump.
Used a Go Pro camera for attached You Tube video. My internet connection is very bad, thus can not tell how the video turned out. Any body had any success with a good head mounted video camera, please let me know.
