I read the original post as him saying the arm and tower broke from bottoming out.

What I was saying is that the arm broke first from the landing. Then there was no support to keep the tower from driving into the ground at that point (judging by the angle of the arm break the car hit nose down on the front passenger wheel.) the edge of the tower was the next to contact the ground and with the leverage and force of the car hitting the ground on that point caused the tower to break.
