I have had some experience in motors for robotics and I can get some pretty powerful motors and gearboxes for about $150. The only thing I think I need now is a servo for steering and a control system.

1 servo to rotate on axle which will turn the wheels left or right

Look for a large scale, or 1/4 scale, servo for steering. They are available at a variety of price points.
Most any radio system should work. But one thing to consider, do you want just throttle and steer channels? Or more channels to do other things? Basic car radios are 2 channel, models with more channels are available. Separate brakes for example, or lights, etc. (being a Lambo a scissor door opener would be cool
)
