The only changes from the two tanks dimensional wise is the height of the truggy tank thats it. That being said there is a possibility that the original poster of the issue is running the o-rings plus the new grommet that is included on the tank. This would raise the tank up about 4-5mm and cause it to hit the body. For those that don't know the new tank TKR5340B should only use the supplied grommets and hardware to secure it to the posts.

Both kit "old" tank and new (which caught crack) were installed only using grommets, no o-rings. I've just received parcel with new "new" tank (5340B), gonna install it and upload pics as soon as possible
