I have a 1/2 scale cardboard Lamborghini that I want to make remote controlled. Except, I have absolutely no idea how to start.

The only material used is cardboard (and hot glue). It is a paper-fold model blown up to 1/2 scale.

The size is 7 ft by 3 ft by 20 inches tall.
not sure on the weight but around 20lbs.

I have absolutely no interior components, its just cardboard.

I am also limiting this to mainly indoor use. or paved surfaces. nothing off-road.

I plan on building a rough frame (probably aluminum) to mount everything on. I have no need for suspension or anything complex. I plan on building my own steering system and I need something (servo, motor, etc) to turn the steering axle. I also need a drive system of some type (probably just rear wheel drive)

My biggest problem is understanding the way the RC transmitters work and hook up to the RC car.

I am a complete newbie and just require whatever help I can get.
