Yes the engine is dead center. Many other things too.
I can assure you it is not like anything else I have seen in the +25 years Ive been in the hobby. Nothing against all others. Obviously, only respect for them. This is only my view of what a racing buggy should be. Hopefully we can make a 100% prototype for testing and then try to run profuction.
