Is it needed, no. But will it make your car better. DEFINITELY. Hands down makes the TC6.2 a better car on carpet. I don't necessarily think it is only it being an aluminum chassis (although the lower cg is helpful) but rather decreasing the excessive flex the 6.2 has. The stock chassis also improved when combined with our top deck, although the gains were much higher when using both.
