I tend to agree, on most small and mid size tracks, electric is faster because you can put the power down immediately. on huge flowing tracks nitro cars have more topspeed, but brushless technology and lipos have made leaps and bounds on power. it takes a few seconds for nitro cars to spool up their power. Lap times are generally quicker on electric. Also nitro is a whole lot messier.
