Frank, I put in a Spektrum 5040 vs. the 5020g, the 5040 has about twice the holding torque and is plenty fast @ .10sec. Plus they are cheap to replace if needed!

The one thing I will note, I started off using the Kimbrough 113 servo saver that was recommended in the CRC Altered ego manual, but found it to be WAY too soft and left the front end wagging badly as the saver gave up to the steering forces. I am currently using a Tamiya high torque unit I found on the shop shelf, but think it could use an upgrade as well. Just something to consider during your build.
