I'm pretty sure it wasn't the tune because I had one of the local guys at the track help me tune and he has been doing it for 10+ years plus multiple other people try and nobody could figure it out.
No offense to other tuners but there are some people that have been running nitro for ages that couldnt tune if their life depended on it. I cant imagine something on the car enabling it to run at less then full throttle ok but kill the engine at full throttle with the exception of the clutch bearings, shims, shoes springs, or flywheel. Check those things out and report back
