and to chime in on opinions of those cars. the D8 12 will get pushed to the back of the list. I drove one and liked it but its not on par with the tekno and kyosho. as far as those 2 it will be on you. the kyosho is fast and easy but its love it or hate it on set up and its like driving a potato chip. tekno if you have ran a lot of cars and raced a lot is a fun car to own. the design is a little different and maintenance on the car is easy which is cool. not to mention its a tank!
Yeah I feel ya! But I cant deny that I ran more consistant faster laps with the D812. Crazy right! I probably can run the same times with my Mp9 if I give it as much attention as the d812 but Im constantly pissed off about the overall slop. I have two of these damn things and Im always replacing parts to get rid of the slop. I drove a losi and actually loved it. Its fast in corners and accelerate really nice but I hate slop. Owned a MBX7 didnt like chasing setup. rear end was too loose. So it either its this car or Xray. Dont know much about the Xray though.. I figured I'll try all these cars out before I get married bc as we all know its down hill from there..lol
