Not anymore, they only came with plastic shocks in the past. But that changed for the T4 platform which features aluminium shockbodies as a standard.
For some the plastic shocks worked, for others not so much. Because of the super fine and also soft thread on the shock body they were a nightmare to build(they also leaked a lot of oil in many cases). IMHO the change to aluminium was much needed.
Agreed alloy shocks certainly are a step ahead. If you are going to buy the RS there are other brands of alloy shocks you could buy that maybe cheaper and work well.
