As a rule, you only need two settings on your Lipo charger.

Balance and Storage

If you plan to put it up a while storage charge it, many chargers do not discharge very fast and a large capacity lipo might take a while, may take more than one pass if it was fully charged.

But all the other functions can be ignored and you will have a healthy lipo life cycle. I would not discharge it on the charger, that will run the voltage down too low for storage.
