I own a Traxxas Digital 2070 Digital Servo and a Futaba Analog S3003. I'm pretty nice to RC so I don't think these rate as really great servos.
Anyway I race an offroad 1/10 buggy and keep having issues when I get hit in a race (or a wall since I'm terrbile

) that servo gears strip some teeth with both of them. Frustrating since I keep needing to replace them. Is this a common occurance since they are cheaper servos?
Would this happen with a better servo......is a metal geared servo a better option?
Thank you for any help.
