The Lunsford's kit uses a different size ball stud/cup and has 3.5mm turnbuckles, if you want to call that a con. I used their 3mm turnbuckles on my old buggy, just buying the lengths closest to the kit turnbuckles, with no issues.

Is that insane? Holding the two outdrives in my hands, I can't spin the diff.

I bought a used roller DEX in the past and it is nowhere near as tight. Looking for confirmation from anyone who has used this method.
Just to clarify. With drivers in the outdrive slots, you adjust the tightness so the gear doesn't spin under hand pressure, not so that you can't spin the outdrives.
