Hi all, I'm new to RC and have just brought the XI Sport. I know next to nothing about gear ratios and need some help in selecting a pinion gear. The motor I will be putting in is a sensorless HPI Vector 5900KV brushless running 2C lipos. No plans on racing at this stage, just running around netball courts and getting used to driving in general. Also if anyone could point me in the right direction for some info on gear ratios,that would be great.
BTW the motor is out of a HPI Sprint 2 which had a pinion of 23/48pitch and spur of 90/48pitch and the motor only got warm after running.
