I think the point someone was trying to make earlier is that there is an inherit problem with running packs in series. It's impossible to get matched cells, therefore one pack will always have a tendency to dump quicker than the other. When I first got into 1/8 Racing I used to use a series adapter to run 2x2S in series, and yes it "worked" for short qualifiers, but I started experiencing intermittent problems during long 8-10 min mains. It was frustrating, because I would hit LVC only to discover after recharge that one pack was nearly 50% full while the other was completely drained
I experimented with swapping relatively new packs out and still got the same problematic results. Once I bought a dedicated 4S pack (with matched cells), then all my LVC problems went away
I'll never run packs in series ever again
