Talking NEW Tamiya Kits

New Tamiya kits now at Banzai Hobby!!!

TRF101W Chassis Kit

Tamiya's Tamiya Racing Factory has come up with a new variant of the TRF101, the company's popular R/C formula chassis released in 2013. The TRF101W benefits from the TRF team's wealth of racing experience and data. It retains many of the original basic features of the TRF101 chassis while adding a number of upgrades to transform the front suspension into a wide-tread unit, the dominant style of chassis in the R/C formula racing world at present.

Toyota Mountain Rider - 4x4 Pick-Up

This is a special re-release of the popular Mountaineer R/C kit, under a new name. The re-vamped 4x4 chassis is the same as the reliable unit used in the 2012 re-release of the Toyota Bruiser (RN36).

The Toyota 4x4 Pick-Up Mountain Rider features a realistic 3 speed transmission and a solid axle leaf spring suspension. The original layout of the Mountaineer chassis has been kept while modern improvements have been discretely incorporated to bring added fun and function.

ENEOS SUSTINA RC F - TB04

The ENEOS SUSTINA RC F, a Japanese Super GT Series entry car which is based upon the stylish Lexus RC F coupe released in 2014 is the latest subject to come on Tamiya's TB-04 shaft driven 4WD platform. The TB-04 is a 1/10 scale 4WD machine that incorporates a drive-shaft down the center of the chassis to engage the front and rear gearboxes. The differentials inside the gearboxes are newly designed as they utilize a sealed gear differential system whereby the internal gears movement is controlled by different viscosity differential fluids. The double-wishbone suspension system utilizes the same "short reversible" type that has been used on the TB-03, TA-05 Version II, TA-06 and the TRF (Tamiya Racing Factory) 416 and 417 World Championship machines. The TB-04 also incorporates "IFS" (inboard front suspension) whereby the front shocks are positioned horizontally and low to the chassis, so that low profile sports car body shapes can be accurately reproduced without losing any realistic scale appearance.

Honda NSX

In celebration of the return of the Honda NSX in to the 2014 Japanese Super GT racing series, Tamiya brings back a classic release with this Limited Edition Honda NSX sports car kit. The re-release kit's body is mounted on a plastic bathtub chassis which incorporates a direct-drive drivetrain, mono-shock T-plate rear suspension and king pin coil spring front suspension.

The Hornet Black Metallic

This is Limited Edition release of the Hornet, which comes with a black metallic body. This model marks 30 years since the release of the venerable original.
