No I did not try running the diff tighter but I did loosen it some and it didn't seem any worse being loosened but I always seem to have to much steering so moving the battery back may help that also
Hmm try it a smidge tighter. With more weight in the back, you will get a pendulum effect as well which is not so good. I would start with the cody kind mid motor ocrc sheet and go from there if I were you (white springs all around pistons might be a bit hard to get locally, the 1.5x2, avid sells a set of 4 on amain).
