I have a couple pieces of lexan that vary in thickness from .5mm-1mm. When you set the rotor in the rear endbell you will see the gap between the rotor and the 3 hall sensors on the sensor board. I shim the rotor and check the size of the gap with the lexan pieces.

Absolutely. I think the Purple rotors are better suited for onroad and the Teal 12.5 is best for offroad imo.
