I am looking for help with a setup for a outdoor dirt track. I've searched this thread and read a lot about the after market parts to help this platform. As of now I don't have the center diff or toe block. I have the spring and say bar kits. I have raced the truck twice. Its not bad, but could use more rear grip. The other problem I have, there a big triple and the truck wants to go over backwards. Should I be using stick or saddle pack? I do like how nimble the truck is. Thanks for the help.
kryptonite for this truck is outdoor, low grip and big jumps! i designed the center dif and 2 stage pistons for these conditions because those are the type of tracks we have in houston! without those mods you are going to have a difficult time keeping up with the latest generation of SC trucks. On the RCShox thread i have a pretty good basic setup for loose outdoor but without the center dif you will need to go up to 30k for the front dif. To help with jumping you need to install front springs in the rear, exotek chassis, and add weight to the front of the truck next to the servo. The lack of rear grip is simply because there is no center dif and with so much power the truck is always spinning the tires.
