As a software developer I can testify that iOS is a much bigger and more expensive pain in the ass than android. Plus, they are pretty much the only cell phone maker that uses proprietary charging/data plug which means tekin would probably have to develop their own adapter vs. using standard USB like the rest of the world.

Sure it would be nice to add iOS support, and not sure what their future plans are on that, but glad they went android first so we can start using it while apple plays games with them.

If you look around you can probably buy a used android device < $50 and would just need a wifi connection to download the app. Would be worth it to not have to lug a laptop around otherwise.
