Top end shouldn't be a problem because I use a 4s 13.2v lifep04 battery pack. Plus from what I understand with the 550 sized motor you are able to run a larger pinion gear without overheating the motor, obviously increasing the top end speed. I used to have a slash 4x4 and it had a Mamba Max pro ESC with the stock velineon motor and it had good speed but the motor got hot easily (because it's only a 2 poll?) especially with the big battery power! I do run on the pavement mostly because I am paralyzed and I live in a nursing home there is a huge parking lot in the back of the facility where I live that I like to run on. Because of that and having all that grip wouldn't I be better off with a motor that has more torque? Thanks for the input!
