Yup, that pack's ready for the disposal bin. Unfortunately, 4wd SCTs are notoriously hard on batteries due to the high current demands placed on them in racing conditions.

If you managed to get a year's use out of the battery, I wouldn't consider that all too bad of a lifespan given the application.
