Haha.... I'm really desperate to shave off some height on the lipo, the thing is i bought the car used and the guy shipped it to me never telling me that the battery is a bit high for the body, and i already paid way too much for the car used because i had to take it apart completely.
Thoroughly, painstakingly clean every little part, diffs gears and all, and re-assemble it, the guy really drenched it in mud, where it was found in the tightest of corners..
but i painstakingly cleaned everything and now after all the hard work the only thing preventing my from pulling the trigger on this beast's controller my first taste of a high powered rc car is the body that is not fitting over the lipo, i would guess 5 - 10mm should do the trick, i'm probably going to do it anyway so will try and pry off the casing, hopefully it works and hope it'll shave off enough in height.
