Got a question for ya. During acceleration I am getting a high pitch whine sound, the sound goes away after about 3/4+.. What an this be a sign of? My motor is running at about 135 and I'm getting throttle pauses sometimes ( I'll post about this isn the Viper VTX8 forum). Mostly wondering about the whine, just doesn't seem normal to me. My setup includes: VTX8 esc, tekin 2000kv motor, truck is completely stock specs.
Haha exactly the same whine coming from mine at the same throttle points ... Dunno what this is about either. Newly assembled etc so cant be the bearing and nor the diffs since driving at a constant speed doesnt diff out anything either. I still havent figured out where the whine is coming from but my best guess would be that at that precise throttle the centre dogbone might be movingg back and forth in the drive cups which result in the whine? Just a random guess ... No performance related issue though since it drives perfect. If anyone has another take on this let us all know ..
