I'm thinking of modding my chassis to have clearance for the Spec-R gear diffs in this car by cutting out the area under the diffs like the T3. They are 38T and should make my internal ratio the same as the T3 or T4. I would then need to use the same belts as the T3 front and back to make it work as the center hub is 22T on either model. Am I correct in thinking this?

I did this mod on my 07 as well, but can't remember the length of the belts I had to purchase. If possible, borrow a belt to measure and test. If I remember correctly, I had a t3 11 at the time too and the rear belt wouldn't fit on the T2 after the mod. I know for sure I had to buy a different belt. the length, I don't remember.
