Could the tire brands have something to do with it? I'm running AKA I-Beam Evo, soft, pre-mounts. I didn't feel like it was hurting the jumping ability at all but who knows how my local track compares to where cannonballs runs. And, again, I'm pretty light in the experience department.
Could also be the brand of fluids you use. There are several of us that are running the tekno in my area and all have settled in the same area and have no issues with ballooning the fronts. And I have tons of power I'm running a cc2200 with a 16t pinion or a 1550 on 5s depending on what track I'm at. But again you have to go with what works for you. If 20 is to thin go to 25.
