So I had a pretty tough collision today and I broke and bent the shock shaft.
the bummer is that it broke where the rod-end threads start, so I have a piece of the shaft still in the rod-end and can't get it out.
but the weird thing is that i also broke the plastic shaft guide and the piston...
how the hell did the piston break?!
Check the plastic inserts in the cartridge for deformation too, as they're likely out of shape now from looking at those parts. That had to be one heck of a hit!
