Also... F103 turnbuckles... same as F103RM? I have the stock tamiya rods... they bend often.
The FGX doesn't use a belt...it has a gear transmission. A few people have converted it to belt and it does help...but it is still not as free as direct drive and still considerably heavier.
One of our local racers picked up the transformula kit...we couldn't get it to run well. If Exotek still makes their F103 conversion you are probably better off getting one of them. I'm not sure if you can get them anymore though.
