My re-purposed Solaris wheels have been holding up nicely.
BTW, I did see the Rides mounted on 26 mm wide wheels in my RD's stash... they looked REALLY flat and stretched. At the club level, they'd probably perform OK, but I think I'll stick with 24 mm wheels. I like having that bit of concavity.
