Token has the answer - I would also add that the new antenna you get will also get broken in time going back and forth to the track.. so I would get them two at a time. Long term for me I ditched my DX3 style radios for DX4 with the shark fin looking antenna, much more durable. I simply hate those flimsy antennas, the only thing worse are the old telescoping ones. Nothing like being on the stand next to a kid at open practice waving his radio around like a jedi with a light saber.
