What wheels are you guys using on the SC6? When I have the standard Kyosho rims, or Slash rear rims on, without tyres, it sits at about 290mm wide, which is well inside the allowed 296mm. But, when I put tyres on, it balloons to about 300mm, which can't fit through the jig? Are some using AE +3mm rimms? I believe some scrutineers at big events will let you force it through, but need to check if someone else has this problem. I believe the top 3 at Australian nationals last year had this issue, all ran Slash rears, and all 3 were too wide, but could force it through.
