forgive me if this has been discussed on this thread, w/ 1400 pages it is a bit difficult to find ...and search doesn't seem to bring anything up (but maybe I am not using search correctly)?

I thought I read that it wasn't worth it? Says you'll get higher top speed, ...but at what cost (reduced acceleration)??
