Since this post, I've gone back to using the 24mm Ride Spec tires on the 24 mm wheels. These tires seem to be more consistent than when mounted on the 24mm wheels.
I mounted my ride spec tires on 26mm tamiya enzo wheels and was surprised with how well they fit. They look like they belong.
