First...Can't say how much we appreciate everyone's patience. It has been a long road getting to
where we are. After a couple of false starts and a name change, we're close, real close. We are
real proud of the work done to bring you a quality, family friendly race facility. And to those of
you who love oval racing, three words... BIG, Wide and Faaaaassst!!
Okay, It's crunch time! It looks like we may finally get a little break from all the rain. Here is what
has been going on recently: We have our first roll of tubing for the inside of the oval. We'll get a
couple more rolls when the off-road track goes in here shortly. The remaining walls will be
going up over the next couple weeks. We're also looking into a barn for the snack shack and
hobby/race shop. Hope to report more on that soon.
That leaves the drivers stand and the lights. We are hopeful that the drivers stand will be up and
ready for our first race. If not, we'll use a temporary structure to get things rolling. Lights are
going to have to wait until later this summer, unfortunately. Which means that our race program
will be running during the day to start the season. The track will open at 11am with racing getting
started at 2pm. We'll run 3 heats and mains. So get those car and trucks ready, it won't be long
now.
