Race update:

Round 2 JBRL at Palm Desert

Practice round - cased a triple and cracked the fuel tank down the middle :P had a spare and got it back out. Only setup changes I made were: 1.3x8 pistons all around, 42.5F and 30R associated oil, could've probably went up another 2.5 as heat was making oils feel really thin. Car was ok, tried adding a wicker bill to my VP Pro M wing as suggested by Chris Marralle, seemed ok, but really like to jump nose high and when the wind picked up later at night made it kind of sketchy on the bigger air jumps.

1st heat - went ok, but made a lot of mistakes and choose to run the VP Pro Turbo Traxx V1 in Super Soft, just couldn't get the rear to square up on power and the front was pushing due to lack of traction.

2nd heat - Changed to Strikers in SS, went better, but had some slower traffic really take me out one to many times to make a great run at it. Qualified 7th.

A-Main - started well, was running 1st for a little while, then 2nd and dropped a bit after the first round of pits. Picked it back up and was running 2nd again after 2nd round of pits. Have had issues with the run time being iffy so brought it in for a splash and go to finish, any podium is better then a DNF sadly I lost a little to much time in the pits and got taken out by lapped traffic letting 3rd place by. I was charging and making up ground on him but got taken out again. This time the gap was to large and just didn't have the time to make it up. Still was a great race and the JQ really likes Palm Desert. My VP Pro tires and wings held up great on both the nitro and ecar. Thanks VP Pro for the great products and continues support.
