Personally, I did not use the kit springs. I used xgear springs to match Ty's setup. For me, the track I was on was smooth and traction was pretty high. So I didn't need the softer springs to absorb a rough track in order to get traction. I was looking for just a touch more stability. But I think I could have made this setup work.
Not sure how well these springs (red front and white rear) match the out of box springs.
