for 2wd buggy look for .10 trans or better and more than 130+ oz in torque.
for ⅛ steering in buggy look for .12 of better and preferably 250+ oz in torque
for ⅛ throttle look for .8 or better and 250+ oz in torque
its not an exact science though, and depending on driving, and crashing more torque or speed may be desired.
high speed and torque are important on ⅛ niter throttle as it gives a nippier feel, and stronger breaks.
