It really came down to timing of the incident. The part broke on Friday and there was no chance of me receiving the Capricorn part in time from our online reseller. I had hoped that this Xray part might be available at a LHS in my area but I ended up borrowing my buddy's Cap flywheel. I just hope Capricorn USA sells/stocks a black (or non red) flywheel.
What exactly is wrong with your Capricorn Flywheel ? If One of the flyweight pins was broken, these can be replaced. I had this happen a couple years ago and, at the time, I cut down to length the shaft from a 2 mm drill bit to fit. The roll pins used, I believe are 12 X 2 mm and are available from Capricorn and probably other MFG's as well.
I've since then obtained the correct replacement pins from Capricorn but am too lazy to replace the modified pin I made, it still remains in the flywheel.
